Preview any Discord server without joining. See the name, icon, description, member count, boost level, and features — or browse channels and messages if the discord.dog bot is installed.
Discord doesn't let you see what a server looks like before joining. You have to click an invite link, join the server, and hope it's what you expected. discord.dog changes this by letting you preview any server — name, description, icon, member count, online count, boost level, features, and verification level — before committing.
For servers where the discord.dog bot is installed, you get a full server browser — a read-only, Discord-like experience where you can browse channels, read messages, view the member list, and see roles. Server admins control which channels are publicly visible.
Enter a server ID (the 17-20 digit number), a full invite URL (discord.gg/... or discord.com/invite/...), or just the invite code. discord.dog resolves all formats automatically.
Can I view a Discord server without joining it?
Yes. discord.dog lets you preview any Discord server without joining. Enter the server ID or an invite link to see the server name, icon, description, member count, boost level, and verification level. If the discord.dog bot is in the server, you can also browse channels and read messages.
How do I find a Discord server's ID?
Enable Developer Mode in Discord (Settings → Advanced → Developer Mode). Then right-click the server name and select 'Copy Server ID'. You can also extract it from a discord.com/channels/ URL — the first number after /channels/ is the server ID.
What's the difference between server preview and server browser?
Server preview shows basic info (name, icon, members, boost level) and works for any server. The server browser is a full read-only Discord-like experience with channels, messages, and members — available when the discord.dog bot is in the server.
Can I preview a server from an invite link?
Yes. Paste any Discord invite link (discord.gg/... or discord.com/invite/...) and discord.dog will resolve it to show the server's details.
